Mark Wade is truly “remark-able” when it comes to working shows for kids and families. His credits include stage shows, lectures, writing columns about performing, and much more.

Mark was trained as an elementary teacher and taught both in the primary and intermediate grades before going full time with his performing 30 years ago.  He blends education and teaching techniques into his school shows so his programs have this unique combination of education and fun.  He’s been in the classroom so he understands what teachers and principals are looking for and what they expect in the way of an assembly / convocation program.

Mark has dedicated himself to teaching about good character in his school programs, with an anti-bully segment in each show.  As a motivational speaker for kids, Mark uses his creative talents as a gifted ventriloquist to make the messages stick.  Each year Mark creates a new show that teaches such concepts as responsibility, honesty, self-reliance, respect, and many other good character words.

When it comes to library shows Mark is a strong advocate for reading and using the library.  His fun library shows help reinforce what librarians are working toward…kids that “read, read, and read some more”.

Mark has also been the opening act across America for such top headliners as Garth Brooks, Reba McIntire, Marie Osmond, Mel Tillis, Trace Atkins and other country acts.
